The idea

A journal is not finished
when the pages are.

The cover is made to outlive the paper inside it. Everything that follows the first order is the part that keeps it useful: new inserts, a charm on the cord, an accessory that earns its place in the bag.

There are two ways to receive that. One is practical and one is a small occasion. They are not steps on a ladder, and most people choose one or the other rather than both.

Am I committed to anything
No. Both plans run until you stop them. You can skip a single delivery, pause for a while, or cancel outright from your account, and none of it costs anything.
How is the AED 65 saving worked out
We add up what the pieces in the box sell for individually on this site today, and compare it with the box price. That comes to AED 345 against 280 in A6, 375 against 310 in A5, and 395 against 330 in XL. The subscriber charm is left out of the sum entirely, because it has no shelf price.
When am I charged
The first payment is taken at checkout. After that, on the same date each cycle, monthly or quarterly depending on what you chose. You will have an email before each renewal.
Can I change my size or paper later
Yes, from your account, up until the day before a renewal. If you have already been charged for the coming delivery, message the studio and we will change it before it is made.
How long does an insert actually last
Six to eight weeks for most people writing regularly. A daily journal will move faster; a planner used a few times a week will last a full quarter. Start with quarterly if you are unsure, moving to monthly is one click.
Do the charms in The Seasons repeat
No. Each box is chosen against a theme for that quarter, and at least one of the three charms is made for subscribers and is not sold on the site. If you already own something we have picked, tell us and we will swap it before it ships.
Can I send it to someone else as a gift
Yes. Set the delivery address to theirs at checkout and every box goes to them, wrapped, with the letter and prompt card inside. If you would like a handwritten note in the first one, add it in the order notes.
What if I am travelling
Skip that delivery from your account and the next one arrives on the normal schedule. Nothing is lost and nothing is charged.
Do I need to own an Eli and Kai journal already
For Refill Delivery, yes, the inserts are cut for our covers. The Seasons works on its own, though the charms and accessories are made for the cords, so it is best alongside a journal.
Where does it ship, and how quickly
Across the Emirates, within forty-eight hours of each dispatch, from our Abu Dhabi studio. For delivery outside the UAE, message the studio on WhatsApp before you subscribe and we will confirm timing and cost.
